Clear, fair and compliant with UK distance-selling rules · How to return, timelines, exclusions and what to expect

1) Change-of-mind (cooling-off)

For most distance purchases, UK consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day after delivery to cancel for any reason. If you cancel within this window, please return items unused, unopened and in resaleable condition (including inner bags/seals). You are responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty or we sent the wrong item.

2) Conditions for returns

  • Items must be returned complete, in original packaging, with all accessories and inserts.
  • Please pack securely to avoid transit damage; obtain proof of postage and a tracking number.
  • Once received, we inspect returns within 2–5 working days.

3) Exclusions

The cooling-off right does not apply to certain categories (e.g. made-to-order goods, sealed items not suitable for return if unsealed). For clarity: our materials are supplied strictly for lawful ethnobotanical, decorative, incense, craft or research use — not for human consumption. Where local law imposes specific restrictions, those prevail.

4) Damaged, defective or incorrect items

  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and the order number.
  • We’ll arrange a replacement or refund (including reasonable return postage where applicable).

5) Lost or delayed parcels

If a parcel cannot be delivered and returns to us, we’ll issue a full refund. If an address was entered incorrectly or collection from your local post office was missed, responsibility remains with the buyer. Suspected loss claims are opened with the carrier after their timeframe for non-delivery has elapsed.

6) How to start a return

  1. Email hello@fly-amanita.co.uk with your order number, reason and photos if relevant.
  2. We’ll reply with the return address and an RMA reference (please write the reference on the parcel).
  3. Ship via tracked service and keep proof of postage.

7) Refunds timeline & method

  • We process approved refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item(s) or evidence of return, whichever is earlier.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank/card/crypto network, funds may take additional days to appear.
  • Original shipping fees are refunded where legally required or if the item was faulty/incorrect.

8) Exchanges

Exchange is possible where stock permits. Otherwise we’ll refund and you can place a new order.

9) Wholesale & custom orders

For bulk/wholesale and customised packing, returns are assessed case-by-case. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
